Older!Brother!Netherlands x Little!Sister!Reader
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Hey, Tim. Where are we going?" You asked and tugged the end of your older brother’s scarf.
"We're going somewhere safe." He replied, without even looking at you.
"Where's safe?" You asked and tugged some more on his scarf.
"You'll see."
You sighed and looked at your surroundings. It was late December and it was snowing.
You loved the snow. You were only three years old but you remembered last year, it had been so much snow that it came all the way up to your shoulders.
You remembered how Tim used to carry you everywhere.
You glanced at your older brother. His emerald eyes looked kind of sad.
You watched him, noticing that he didn’t pay any attention to you.
You looked at his gravity-defying hair and at the scar he had on the right side of his forehead.
You weren’t just imagining things, he did look sad!
"Tim?"
No answer.
"Tiiim...?"
"Yes, ___?"
"Why are you sad?"
"..."
"Hello? Earth to Tim?"
"I'm not sad, ___."
You frowned. He was lying, You could see that. You may be young but you weren't stupid!
You watched as the beautiful snowflakes slowly fell onto the ground.
When you'd walked for a while you started to become tired and it became hard to keep up with your older brother.
He noticed that.
"___."
"Yes?"
"Do you want me to carry you?"
You smiled at your older brother. "Yes, please!"
Tim's POV
I looked at ___.
She was now sleeping in my arms, dreaming.
I sighed.
It had to be done, I couldn't continue like this.
But it still hurt.
I loved my little sister. Loved her.
But it was inevitable. It had to be like this.
Had to.
Normal POV
When you woke up, Tim was still carrying you.
"Are you awake?" He asked when you started to move around in his arms.
You nodded. "Yeah..."
"Good." He said as he put you down on the ground. "We're soon there."
And, just like he said, you soon saw a huge building in front of you.
Orphanage.
"Brother... What's an 'orphanage'?"
"It's... A place where you'll be safe." He answered.
"Are you sure?"
He nodded and knocked at the door to the huge building.
The doors opened and a lady in her mid-fifties poked out her head.
"What do you want? Don't you know that people have other things to do the day before Christmas then to answer doors all da- oh." She said angrily until she saw you.
"And who might you be?" She asked and kneeled down in front of you.
"Uh...I-I'm-" You mumbled and Tim cut you off.
"She's my little sister, ___." He said.
"Oh?" The lady said. "___, eh?"
You nodded.
"Well then, ___. Come on in!" She smiled at you as she took your hand.
You looked at your brother.
"You're leaving?" You asked.
"Yes..." He replied, his eyes full of sorrow.
"But you'll come back, right?"
"...Yes..."
"Promise?"
"I promise." He said as he took of his scarf and put it around your neck, smiling a rare, gentle smile.
America X Reader: Heroes Don't Cry
‘What is that sound?’ You thought as all you saw was darkness. ‘Is that a heart monitor?’ A pain in your side reminded you what went on and answered your question.
-Flashback-
“That had to be the best movie we’ve seen yet!” Your boyfriend, Alfred, said as you both walked out of the theater walking down the sidewalk headed home.
“You saw that about every movie we see.” You giggled holding on to his arm as you walked.
“We see good movies.” He laughed that laugh you loved to hear. When the two of you turned a corner you were both met with a gun pointed at the both of you.
England x Reader - Love Waltz
"Good morning, love."
"Good morning, Kirkland."
This was how your morning always went now – Arthur Kirkland, the popular British student of Gakuen Hetalia, would greet you every single morning with a, 'Good morning, love.' In return, you'd reply politely with, 'Good morning, Kirkland.' In fact, it was sort of like a tradition now or something.
You had always puzzled over as to why he did this – he was pretty popular, after all. Girls found him really attractive, and they often fangirled over his accent. You? You weren't as high up on the social rankings. You were just an average student, really, and a shy one at that.
